Recently, I was at one of my best friends home having coffee.
“Of all the things I write, what is your favorite thing that I write?” I asked her. I was looking for some direction for this substack this year and was stuck. I had a few ideas, but nothing concrete.
“Fiction,” she answered immediately.
That was about the last thing I expected her to say.
